Crafting History session setting with art supplies
Crafting History

Each Crafting History session explores an historical theme, period, concept, or place using arts-and-crafts practices to learn about the past. Adopting insights from both the classroom and Katy's historical education research, the sessions have a hands-on approach and encourage 'thinking through making.' The sessions are low-screen and zero-AGI/AI crafting sessions that focus on collective learning, crafting, and engagement with the past as a living force in the present. Suitable for children aged 7+. Minimum two students.
